The Swing & Standards Trio

The Swing & Standards Trio is a jazz ensemble based in Portland, Oregon, known for performing a mix of traditional jazz standards, swing, show tunes, and romantic melodies from the Great American Songbook. 

The band can perform as a Duo, Trio, or Quartet, with various instrumental options available depending on the venue and event requirements. The core members often include Bill Coones on vocals and upright bass, along with a pianist or guitarist, and sometimes a drummer, saxophonist, or trombonist. 

The Swing & Standards Trio has performed at various venues and events in the Portland area, including farmers markets, wineries, restaurants, and private functions.

They've been featured at the Happy Valley Farmers Market and the Vancouver Farmers Market, among others. They have a history of playing at local establishments like NASO Wine Bar and Wilf's Restaurant.
